Graduated in Law from Rome’s “La Sapienza” University and licensed to practice law in Italy as a Lawyer.
Fiorella has completed her internship for the legal profession at leading Italian law firms with significant
experience in civil litigation. She attended the “Vittorio Emanuele Orlando Forensic School” of the “Supreme Court of Cassation” and an “Advanced Training Course” at the “Sapienza” University of Rome in the main branches of law. She also gained her internship for the profession of Industrial Property Consultant (Trademark branch) at an Italian firm specializing in Intellectual and Industrial Property Law.
Currently, Fiorella is part of the “Studio Ferrario” team and assists Clients in the acquisition and protection of Intellectual Property rights (trademarks and other distinctive signs, copyright, patents, designs and know how, domain names, copyright and web law, confidential information) both judicial and extrajudicial, including contracts and legal opinions. She deals with the Preliminary Searches of trademarks and other distinctive signs and the drafting of legal opinions on the novelty of signs. She also deals with all kinds of activities before the UIBM (Italian Patent and Trademark Office), EUIPO (European Intellectual Property Office) and before foreign trademark offices, for example, responses to reliefs, refusals, oppositions, invalidity or revocation actions, amicus briefs, appeals before the Board of Appeals against UIBM’s measures. She also provides legal advice in the areas of unfair competition and counterfeiting.
Fiorella obtained a “Intellectual Property Law and Innovation” Master from Business School “Il Sole 24 Ore” and previously in “Copyright and Entertainment Law” with “Altalex Formazione”.
