Studio Ferrario offers technical and legal advice in the field of Industrial and Intellectual Property both in Italy and abroad.
Studio Ferrario was established in 1944 by Engineer Artemio Ferrario, one of the people who inspired and drafted the former Italian Patent Law n. 1127 of 1939.
Engineer Ferrario was also the author of many technical publications about inventions and patents.

Nowadays the Firm is managed by Maurizio Sarpi, grandson of the founder, who thanks to his passion for science, technology and innovation is the great guardian of the family heritage aimed to the future.
Maurizio together with his partners Lina Manni and Antonio Fezzardi, leads a team of about 30 people among professionals and staff.
With over 70 years of experience, Studio Ferrario with headquarter in Rome and branch offices in Milan (since 2005) and in Florence (since 2012) offers high level of technical and legal consulting in every IP sector both in the domestic and foreign areas of practice.

Finally, three of our Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys may represent our clients before the Patent and Trade Mark Office of SAN MARINO (a small and independent Republic, not being Member of EEC, where, according to the Pact of Amity and Good Neighbourhood dated 1939, local IP rights are automatically extended to Italy, and viceversa), through a local associated firm, GENERAL SERVICES S.r.l., located in the San Marino World Trade Center.
